Adds a distinct artifact-unlock objective for players who want a mining-focused tool in future Supply Pod selections.

PC / Global, full release 1.0 progression systems
WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Any stage in a Main Mission dive; work through the whole terrain before the stage exit/drop pod sequence.

Pick Axtender is a run artifact unlocked through a specific milestone: clear all rock and stone in one Main Mission stage. This is a completion objective, not a Nitra-spending loop. Choose a Main Mission dive and treat the stage terrain as a checklist: mine every visible rock formation and resource-bearing obstruction before leaving that stage. The official Survivor artifact listing states the unlock condition but does not promise the artifact will appear in the next pod. Once the milestone is complete, Pick Axtender joins the available artifact pool; later Supply Pods present only a selection, so continue normal dives if you want a chance to pick it.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Select a Main Mission dive rather than a special-mode route that may not count for the milestone.
  • Have enough time and survivability to clear the stage without abandoning its mining areas.
  • Check the in-game milestone menu to track the artifact objective and confirm completion.
  1. From the mission screen, select a Main Mission dive and start a stage you can survive comfortably.
  2. Use the map and your exploration route to identify the terrain edges and branching pockets before moving toward the exit.
  3. Mine every rock and stone formation you encounter, including resource-bearing terrain that is not highlighted as an objective node.
  4. Circle back to unmined side paths and enclosed pockets instead of assuming the main path is complete.
  5. Keep enemies under control while mining; if the stage becomes unsafe, prioritize survival and retry the milestone on a safer dive.
  6. Before leaving the stage, check the milestone tracker for the clear-all-rock-and-stone requirement.
  7. Once unlocked, enter later dives and inspect Supply Pod artifact choices; select Pick Axtender only when offered and useful for that run.

Farming tips

  • The unlock criterion is clearing all rock and stone in a Main Mission stage; it does not guarantee the artifact in a specific Supply Pod.
  • Do not confuse the milestone with merely collecting a quota of Gold or Nitra.

Repeat, collect and use

The milestone unlock is permanent once completed. To obtain Pick Axtender in a dive, continue playing and choose it only if it appears among the Supply Pod’s available artifact options.

Common mistakes

  • Leaving the stage with terrain uncleared and expecting resource collection totals to satisfy the full-clear milestone.
  • Expecting the artifact to be awarded directly at the end of the qualifying stage; the milestone unlocks it into the artifact pool.
  • Spending a run trying to clear terrain when the dive is already unsafe; retry the objective on a more manageable mission.

When to stop or switch

Stop the mining sweep after the milestone tracker confirms completion. For later runs, stop pursuing Pick Axtender once the artifact is unlocked or when another Supply Pod choice better serves the build.
