Where to farm
Blue Morkite veins inside Mining Expedition caves.
Mining Expedition asks the team to collect a displayed Morkite quota and return to the Drop Pod. Mine the blue veins along the cave route, deposit them, and use the mission counter to judge whether more cave needs exploring. Cave length and complexity vary, so follow the actual route and quota instead of relying on a fixed path.
Choose a Mining Expedition mission at the Mission Terminal.
Check the quota displayed for the selected mission.
Bring a team with enough traversal coverage to mine veins on walls and ledges.
Use Molly or the deposit point to bank collected Morkite.
Enter the cave and identify the main route and visible Morkite veins.
Mine accessible blue veins with the pickaxe, using traversal tools for deposits above the floor.
Deposit collected Morkite as Molly arrives or when the team passes a deposit point.
Watch the objective counter to compare deposited Morkite with the quota.
Continue along the cave route and inspect side chambers or ledges when the counter remains short.
Once the quota is met, check for any other displayed primary objective requirements.
Call extraction and travel back to the Drop Pod together.
Farming tips
Deposit frequently to keep the counter current and reduce the chance of overlooking how much remains.
Have teammates mark hard-to-reach deposits so a Scout, Engineer, or other class can help access them.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable whenever Mining Expedition is available. Each run has its own cave and quota; extracted Morkite serves the mission objective and is not a persistent crafting stockpile.
Common mistakes
Leaving at the first sign of the Drop Pod before meeting quota risks an incomplete objective; verify the counter first.
Following only the floor route can miss wall and ceiling veins; scan all cave surfaces.
Confusing Morkite with crafting minerals leads to the wrong farm choice; use this mission for its quota and choose mineral veins for crafting stock.
When to stop or switch
Stop exploring when the Morkite quota and any required primary objectives are complete. Head to extraction rather than extending the run for optional cave loot during a risky return.
