Where to farm
Red Nitra veins on cave walls and surfaces during missions on Hoxxes IV.
Nitra is a mission resource spent to call ammunition resupplies. Mine its red veins, deposit the ore in Molly, and use the team’s stored supply when ammunition needs justify it. This is a practical survival loop rather than persistent crafting stock: Nitra does not carry between missions, so gather for the current cave and its fights.
Launch a mission with a team that may need ammunition during combat.
Bring the pickaxe and use class traversal tools to reach veins that are above or across gaps.
Locate Molly or another deposit point for mined resources.
Check available Nitra before planning a resupply.
Scan the cave walls and ceiling for red Nitra deposits as the team moves between objectives.
Use platforms, ziplines, grappling, or terrain shaping as appropriate to reach veins safely.
Mine the deposit with the pickaxe until the vein is depleted.
Deposit the collected Nitra in Molly or the mission’s deposit point.
Check the team’s ammunition and stored Nitra before deciding to call a resupply.
Place the resupply where the team can reach it safely, then collect ammunition as needed.
Resume the objective and repeat cave scanning while traveling through new areas.
Farming tips
Ask a teammate with good vertical access to handle high veins while others keep the route and threats covered.
Deposit Nitra as you go so the whole team can see the available supply and make informed resupply calls.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat throughout each mission while veins remain. The resource is mission-bound and does not persist as a stockpile after extraction.
Common mistakes
Calling a pod without enough deposited Nitra cannot work; confirm the team’s supply before requesting one.
Ignoring high or side-wall veins can leave the team short; scan the full cave space and use traversal tools.
Saving all Nitra until after the team is depleted can be too late; gather and deposit it during travel.
When to stop or switch
Stop mining Nitra when the team has enough for its expected combat needs or the objective is complete and the Drop Pod is called. Prioritize extraction over optional deposits during a dangerous retreat.
