WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
The final encounter selection after an eligible Infernal Horde run on Torment difficulty.
Bartuc is available only when the Horde run meets its current conditions. The documented route requires a qualifying Torment I–IV Compass and at least 666 Burning Aether. Build toward that threshold while clearing waves, then check the final encounter choices. The fight requires both successful wave clearing and single-target damage. Confirm the option in the current run rather than assuming that any Compass or Aether total will make it appear.
A Torment I–IV Infernal Compass eligible for the Bartuc option.
At least 666 Burning Aether for the documented selection condition.
A build with wave-clearing and single-target damage.
Inspect the Compass and confirm its difficulty and eligibility.
Enter the Horde and choose manageable offers that support Aether collection.
Clear events throughout the waves and track your Aether total.
Continue until you reach the documented 666 Aether threshold.
At the final selection, choose Bartuc if the option is shown and remains your goal.
Defeat Bartuc and claim the Greater Equipment reward if its displayed cost is affordable.
Farming tips
A longer Compass gives more wave opportunities to build Aether, but requires a longer clear.
Keep both area damage for waves and single-target damage for Bartuc.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat with another eligible Compass while the target is useful and you can meet the run condition. Check the threshold and available choices in the activity interface each run.
Common mistakes
Assuming any Compass qualifies: verify its difficulty and eligibility before entering.
Focusing only on wave damage: retain the damage and defenses needed for the boss.
Reaching the end below threshold: track Aether during the run and choose from the options actually displayed.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you obtain the desired reward or no longer have an eligible Compass; use ordinary Horde Spoils if materials or general gear become the priority.
