WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

The final reward chest after defeating the Fell Council or Bartuc in an Infernal Horde.

Use this route when equipment is your primary reason for entering a Horde. Burning Aether gathered during waves is spent at the final chest, so choosing equipment means giving up other options that use the same run total. Check the chest’s displayed choices and cost in your current game. After collecting the gear, compare each item to your build and decide whether to keep, improve or salvage it.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • An Infernal Compass and Horde access.
  • Enough Burning Aether for the displayed equipment Spoils.
  • A build capable of completing the waves and final encounter.
  1. Enter a Horde with a Compass and set equipment as the reward goal.
  2. Choose manageable offers and clear waves while collecting Burning Aether.
  3. Complete the final encounter and defeat the Fell Council or Bartuc if selected.
  4. Inspect the reward chest for the Greater Equipment Spoils option and its current cost.
  5. Spend 400 Aether if the option is available at that listed cost, then collect the gear.
  6. Compare drops with your build and keep, improve or salvage each item.

Farming tips

  • Track Aether during the waves so you can judge whether the equipment chest is affordable.
  • Decide what you want before spending; the same Aether cannot pay for multiple final options.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeat with another Compass while equipment remains useful and you can afford the Spoils. Each run has its own Aether pool and reward decision.

Common mistakes

  • Spending Aether on another option first: reserve enough for equipment if that is your goal.
  • Treating every chest item as an upgrade: compare its stats and role to your build.
  • Entering without enough clear power: choose a difficulty and offers you can complete.

When to stop or switch

Stop when you get a useful upgrade or the chest no longer improves your gear; redirect Horde runs toward materials or Bartuc if those fit your next goal.
