Spending Horde Aether on material Spoils converts a run into Obducite and gem fragments.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Aether Events during Infernal Horde waves, followed by the final Spoils chest.
Choose this route when crafting materials are more useful than equipment from an Infernal Horde. Collect Burning Aether during timed waves, then spend it at the final chest. Offers influence which events appear and the rewards they provide, so select effects that your build can handle. The chest displays the available Spoils; use the material option when its listed payout matches your need.
A build that can clear timed waves at the selected difficulty.
A current need for Obducite or gem fragments.
Use a Compass to enter an Infernal Horde.
Read the offers and choose manageable effects that support Aether collection.
Move to active Aether Events and defeat enemies or complete their encounter mechanics.
Collect Burning Aether before each wave ends, then continue through the next wave.
Defeat the final encounter and inspect the chest’s current Spoils options.
Select Spoils of Materials if offered and its displayed rewards match your need; collect them.
Farming tips
Prioritize events your build can finish efficiently instead of chasing every threat.
Offers persist into later waves, so favor a combination you can survive.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat with another Compass while material Spoils remain useful. Aether is collected and spent within each run; it does not carry over as a stockpile.
Common mistakes
Spending Aether on equipment when materials were the goal: decide before choosing the final reward.
Ignoring the wave timer: collect what you can safely reach before time expires.
Choosing offers that overwhelm your defenses: use modifiers suited to your damage and survival.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the material payout covers your next crafting goal or another Spoils option is more useful; use Nightmare Dungeons or Undercity Tributes for alternative Obducite runs.
