WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Buy livestock at Irwin’s Barn and place it in its matching enclosure on your farm.
Livestock comes from Irwin’s Barn and must be delivered to a house suited to its species. Handling Licence levels unlock different animal housing: Level 1 for Chooks and a Bird Coop, Level 2 for Vombats and an Animal Stall, and Level 3 for Pleep and an Animal Den. Keep the animal box until it is placed in the matching enclosure.

Unlock and craft the corresponding Bird Coop, Animal Stall, or Animal Den using its recipe.
Visit Irwin’s Barn and purchase livestock that your license allows.
Carry the supplied Animal Box back to the farm.
Place the box inside the matching enclosure to deliver the animal.
Provide suitable feed and care for the animal in its enclosure.
Collect its product when available and store it for use or sale.
Farming tips
Build the animal’s house before buying it so the Animal Box has a ready destination.
Use Irwin’s Barn for livestock; wildlife traps and collection points serve a different system.
Repeat, collect and use
Livestock housing is a permanent setup. Repeat the purchase and delivery process for each additional animal, keeping each in compatible housing.
Common mistakes
Buying an animal before unlocking its housing leaves no proper place for it; check the license and build the enclosure first.
Placing a box in the wrong house does not match the animal’s needs; confirm the species-to-house pairing.
Confusing wildlife capture with livestock purchase leads to the wrong workflow; buy farm animals from Irwin.
When to stop or switch
Stop buying animals when you lack matching enclosure space, feed, or time to care for the current livestock. Expand after the existing animals are settled.
