WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Bitterblack Isle exploration for relics, then Olra and Barroch at the Isle.
Bitterblack Weapon, Armor, and Gear relics come in multiple levels, and purification costs rise with tier. Higher tiers generally belong to a later-stage equipment chase, while lower tiers can fill gaps earlier. The useful choice is not simply to purify the highest tier first: match the relic category to the slot you need, check its cost, and keep resources for Barroch’s enhancement service. Exact drops are not guaranteed from any given chest or enemy. This applies to Dark Arisen’s Isle content.
Collect one or more Bitterblack relics and note each category and level.
Build an RC reserve from Isle drops, pawn returns, or other available sources.
Know the equipment slot or vocation gap you want to address.
Leave enough room and resources to use or enhance any worthwhile result.
Sort collected relics by category and tier in inventory or storage.
Identify the immediate need: weapon, armor, or accessory/utility gear.
At Olra, check the RC price for each candidate tier before choosing one.
Prioritize the relic that addresses the most important build gap and whose cost fits your reserve.
Set vocation alignment before purification if the result pool matters.
Inspect the revealed item and compare it with current equipment before equipping.
Take useful gear to Barroch only after checking its enhancement requirements.
Farming tips
Keep one high-priority relic unpurified if you are saving for its cost or waiting to set a suitable vocation pool.
Store results that are valuable for alternate vocations rather than selling them automatically.
Repeat, collect and use
Apply the same triage whenever new relics arrive. The relic supply and results vary, and purification consumes RC rather than returning it.
Common mistakes
Purifying by tier alone; compare category and the equipment gap first.
Spending the entire RC reserve on one relic; preserve a buffer for other Isle needs.
Assuming a high-tier relic will yield a specific upgrade; plan for a pool of possible results.
When to stop or switch
Stop processing lower-priority relics when a higher-priority category or enhancement needs the remaining RC, or when your current build is adequately equipped.
