Proliferator spray can speed production or provide extra products, depending on the selected mode. A Spray Coater lets you apply it to eligible inputs before they reach high-volume production.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
At a Spray Coater placed on an input belt before an assembler, smelter, or other compatible production machine.
Produce proliferator, feed it to a Spray Coater, and route coated materials to the machines that can use the selected effect. The production benefit comes with extra material and power needs, so start with a line whose output is easy to monitor and compare.
Powered downstream production and a place to use its output
Choose a production line where faster output or extra products would be useful.
Produce proliferator using the recipe unlocked in your current progression.
Place a Spray Coater on the target material's belt before the machines that consume it.
Connect proliferator supply to the coater and confirm both inputs reach it.
Select the spray mode that matches your goal: production speedup or extra products.
Route sprayed materials onward to the intended production machines.
Monitor output, proliferator consumption, and power use, then adjust the line if it backs up.
Farming tips
Apply spray before high-volume production only when the extra proliferator supply is sustainable.
Keep the sprayed route distinct enough to tell which inputs receive the selected effect.
Repeat, collect and use
Spraying repeats as long as proliferator and target materials reach the coater. Coated items are consumed by downstream production; they are not a separate collectible reward.
Common mistakes
Choosing a mode without checking its intended effect; select speedup or extra products to fit the line.
Running out of proliferator and assuming the coater is still treating inputs; check its input and status.
Ignoring added power or material demand; include proliferator production in the line's supply plan.
When to stop or switch
Stop spraying if the proliferator chain becomes the bottleneck or the benefit is not useful for that line. Resume after supply and power can support it.
