Research is repeatable through successive levels, subject to the matrices and research access shown in game. It is a progression investment rather than a resource farm with a collected item.
Pause when the next level's matrix cost competes with a more urgent unlock, or when current mining capacity already meets demand. Resume when resource efficiency or output becomes a priority.
