Where to farm
At a Portable Constructor deployed on terrain, using its recipe interface.
Gather Wood Logs with the Survival Tool’s Defence mode, then process them through a deployed Portable Constructor. Use its live recipe display to confirm requirements before queuing Biofuel.

Equip the Survival Tool and use Defence mode on a tree to obtain Wood Logs.
Craft the Portable Constructor and place it on terrain.
Open the constructor interface and put Wood Logs into its input.
Search the recipe list for Biofuel.
Read the displayed requirements and queue the recipe if the inputs are sufficient.
Allow the constructor to process the queue.
Collect the finished Biofuel from output and load or store it for its intended use.

Biofuel can supply handheld drill ammunition, so keep some available if you plan to use that tool.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the processing loop as long as you can gather Wood Logs and have constructor access. Each batch consumes its displayed inputs and produces the queued Biofuel.
