Aloe Seedlings

Aloe supports restorative consumables that are useful on dangerous expeditions. A home plot makes the plant easier to replenish after an initial trip to its native region.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

The Farmer's Seedbed and a suitable soil plot at your base, after collecting wild Aloe.

Harvest wild Aloe to reveal its Seedbed recipe, then return to the Farmer and produce seedlings for a compatible soil plot. The recipe panel supplies the current ingredient list. Once grown, harvest the crop and allocate output between continued planting and the consumables you want to make.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Rescue the Farmer and place a Seedbed.
  • Access to a region where wild Aloe grows.
  • Compatible soil and the ingredients shown in the seedling recipe.
  1. Travel to Aloe's native region and gather wild plants while watching regional hazards.
  2. Return to base and check whether harvesting Aloe has unlocked the Seedbed recipe.
  3. Read the recipe panel and collect any remaining ingredients it requires.
  4. Craft a modest starter batch of Aloe Seedlings at the Seedbed.
  5. Plant the seedlings in a soil type accepted by the crop and allow them to mature.
  6. Harvest the crop, retain material for the next production cycle, and use the balance for restorative crafting.

Farming tips

  • Do not scale the plot until you have confirmed which soil type the seedling accepts.
  • Keep an expedition reserve of Aloe separate from the stock used for ongoing farm production.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeat from seedling crafting through harvest, reserving enough input for another batch. Wild collection is needed to establish production; later harvests sustain it.

Common mistakes

  • Searching for a recipe without first harvesting wild Aloe: collect it and recheck the Seedbed.
  • Planting in incompatible soil: confirm the accepted ground before preparing a large plot.
  • Using every harvest for consumables: retain the portion needed to continue growing Aloe.

When to stop or switch

Stop growing extra Aloe when your restorative supplies and replanting reserve are adequate; switch the plot to a crop with greater current demand.
