WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Hunt > Otherworldly Hunt. Confirm the available difficulty and reward preview in the Global client.
Otherworldly Hunt is the current next step once your Hunt team can survive it. The goal is to build a useful gear pool, then keep pieces that improve real hero builds. Gear drops are not guaranteed upgrades: sort and filter them before spending charms or gold.
Unlock Otherworldly Hunt through Hunt progression.
Have a team that survives a clear; use an Ice-focused formation when the encounter calls for it.
Clear the relevant Hunt once with a Battle Pet equipped to unlock Background Battling.
Set an equipment auto-sell and extraction filter that preserves the gear you want to inspect.
Open the Otherworldly Hunt screen and check the current difficulty, formation slots, and reward preview.
Choose a team that has already proven it can survive the encounter; if it fails, return to a stable Hunt difficulty and improve the team's speed, durability, or debuffs.
Complete one successful clear with a Battle Pet equipped if you have not yet recorded a Background Battling clear for the relevant Hunt.
Open the equipment filter and preserve Otherworldly-tagged pieces and any sets or substats you are actively seeking.
Queue Background Battling with the Energy or Leifs you intend to spend, then use Calculate to collect the finished run.
Inspect the resulting gear by set, main stat, and substats; lock plausible upgrades and sell or extract the rest.
Equip and enhance only pieces that pass your account's gear filter, then return to the Hunt if more gear remains useful.
Farming tips
Background Battling records the time from a successful Pet clear; use the in-game queue and Calculate control to collect results.
Otherworldly-tagged pieces are a central reason to farm this mode, so make sure your auto-filter does not discard them.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat while gear upgrades or Otherworldly-tagged pieces are a priority and you can clear reliably. Background Battling uses queued resources; it is not an unlimited free claim.
Common mistakes
Discarding Otherworldly-tagged gear in the auto-sell filter: review the filter before queuing and preserve tagged drops.
Trying a difficulty that the team cannot survive: step back to a stable Hunt, improve the team, then retry.
Enhancing every drop: first inspect set, main stat, and substats, then spend charms only on plausible keepers.
When to stop or switch
Switch to another farm when the gear you need is covered or the current difficulty is not producing useful progress for the Energy spent.
