WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Enclave encampment locations associated with the relevant Fallout 4 Creation content.
Enclave encampments are a gear target for players who have the relevant Creation content installed. This is a finite exploration and combat objective: travel to the available camps, defeat their hostiles, and search the area for equipment. Confirm the content is present in your Creations menu before planning a trip. The October 2026 patch notes cover Creation-related fixes, so check that the content loads correctly on your current build.
Install or own the Creation content that adds the encampments.
A character equipped to handle the camp's hostile forces.
Inventory room for equipment and other loot.
Open the Creations menu and confirm the relevant Enclave content is installed.
Load the save and verify the content is available before setting out.
Locate an encampment using the in-game map or quest information available to your character.
Approach prepared for combat and clear the hostile forces in the camp.
Search containers and defeated enemies for equipment and useful supplies.
Compare found gear with your current build and keep items worth upgrading.
Take selected equipment to a workbench and apply available improvements.
Farming tips
Record which camps you have already cleared so you can distinguish new exploration from revisits.
Keep a backup save before a content-heavy session if you are testing whether an updated Creation loads correctly.
Repeat, collect and use
Camp clearing is primarily a one-time exploration and loot objective; do not assume unique rewards respawn or that each visit supplies new equipment.
Common mistakes
Traveling before confirming the Creation is installed can leave the location or quest unavailable; check the menu first.
Expecting every container to hold a unique item can misrepresent random or limited loot; search thoroughly but judge results by what appears.
Assuming a camp is an endless gear farm is unsupported; treat cleared encounters as completed unless the game shows a reset.
When to stop or switch
Stop after clearing the camps available to your installed content and collecting the equipment you need; switch to repeatable random legendary encounters for ongoing gear hunting.
