Make a hard save outside before entering, then use the entry autosave to retry the loot effect if a legendary enemy appears. This method targets a random drop from that interior rather than a guaranteed weapon or prefix.

How to farm
Before you go
Reach the facility with equipment suited to its enemies.
Make a hard save outside the building before entry.
Allow for the possibility that no legendary enemy appears.
Prepare for the fight and make a hard save outside the recruiting facility.
Enter the building and check the first interior rooms for a legendary enemy.
If none appears, reload the exterior hard save and decide whether to try again later.
If a legendary enemy appears, defeat it and inspect the dropped item and effect.
If the item is not useful, reload the entry autosave and re-enter to try another loot result.
Keep a result that serves your build, or return to the exterior save if the enemy was absent.
Equip the item or store it safely before moving on.
Farming tips
Keep the exterior hard save distinct from the entry autosave so you can return to the state before entering.
Set a sensible difficulty for the fight; the goal is to reach and loot the enemy reliably.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat attempts by reloading the appropriate save. Legendary spawns and useful results are chance-based, so there is no guaranteed number of tries or outcome.
Common mistakes
Saving only after entering removes the clean pre-entry point; create the exterior hard save first.
Treating a legendary spawn as guaranteed can waste repeated attempts; leave and return later if the room has none.
Expecting a specific effect or weapon type overstates the method; inspect each drop and keep only useful results.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you obtain a useful piece or when repeated attempts are no longer worth the time; use ordinary Gunner encounters for random gear instead.
