This is a combat-and-looting route for players who want random gear from hostile groups, including possible combat armor pieces. Legendary drops are not guaranteed, and the route does not target a particular effect. Search the area, take useful equipment, and return after the locations have reset in your game if you want another attempt.
Reach the locations with equipment suited to fighting Gunners.
Carry enough inventory capacity for armor and weapons.
Expect a chance-based legendary result rather than a guaranteed drop.
Travel to National Guard Training Yard prepared for a hostile Gunner encounter.
Clear the Gunners you encounter and check each body for legendary markers and equipment.
Inspect combat armor pieces and other gear before deciding what to keep.
Continue to the nearby Satellite Array and clear its hostile group if present.
Loot the enemies and nearby containers that are relevant to your search.
