WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Any accessible vendor with limited caps and a stock of items you can sell.

Vendors have limited caps, so a single visit may not convert a large pile of gear into money. Sell until the vendor can no longer pay, then return after the vendor's stock has refreshed. Waiting or sleeping can be used to pass time, but exact refresh behavior may vary with game conditions. Treat this as a staged selling routine rather than a guaranteed fast reset.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • A batch of sellable loot.
  • A vendor with caps available.
  • A safe place to wait or sleep if you choose to pass time.
  1. Choose a vendor convenient to revisit and check its available caps.
  2. Sell the most valuable surplus equipment first, while preserving gear you want to keep.
  3. Continue trading until the vendor cannot pay enough for the next item or your caps goal is met.
  4. Keep the unsold batch separate from items you plan to retain or scrap.
  5. Wait or sleep, then return and check whether the vendor's cap pool has refreshed.
  6. Sell the next batch only after confirming funds are available.
  7. Repeat the check later if the vendor still lacks enough caps.

Farming tips

  • Prioritize valuable items early in the visit in case the vendor's funds run out.
  • Do not confuse a vendor's cap pool with the value of junk components you might recover by scrapping.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeat across vendor restocks, but the refresh timing is not specified here and may depend on game conditions. The amount earned is limited by both your loot and available vendor caps.

Common mistakes

  • Expecting a fixed reset interval can cause wasted waiting; check the vendor rather than relying on an exact timer.
  • Selling low-value items first may leave no funds for better loot; order the trade by value and need.
  • Forgetting which items remain unsold can lead to accidental disposal; keep a deliberate sell batch.

When to stop or switch

Stop when your caps target is met or the remaining loot is better kept or scrapped; use another vendor if you need to sell sooner.
