Where to farm
Dark bulbs with visible red liquid at the roots of massive plants in Underdust locations, including the Underdust Laboratory area.
Massive Underdust roots have dark bulbs with red liquid on their surface. An empty liquid container collects the Plant Resin directly, making this a targeted expedition activity rather than a crop cycle.
Access to an Underdust location with massive plants.
Expedition life support for the trip.
Empty liquid container.
Storage space for the resin.
Enter an Underdust location and look for massive plant roots.
Inspect the roots for dark-colored bulbs with red liquid on their surface.
Approach a visible bulb with an empty liquid container ready.
Collect the liquid from the bulb into the container.
Search nearby roots for additional matching bulbs before leaving the area.
Bring the resin aboard and use it in Epoxy crafting or another recipe that requires Plant Resin.
Farming tips
This direct collection route can bridge the gap before you have Dust Daisy seeds and a working Distiller recipe.
Do not confuse the red liquid target with ordinary plant matter; the bulb and liquid appearance identify the source.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat at other Underdust root sites where matching bulbs are present. Treat each collected bulb as finite; no respawn behavior or guaranteed quantity is established.
Common mistakes
Arriving without an empty liquid container: the resin is collected as liquid.
Searching for loose resin on the floor: the documented target is red liquid on dark root bulbs.
Assuming every massive root has bulbs: scan visible roots and plan for variable site contents.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you have enough resin for your Epoxy batch or when the current root area has no accessible red-liquid bulbs.
