Organic Fertilizer feeds crop production, and processing biomass with rotten food returns otherwise wasted supplies to the garden cycle.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Distiller aboard the airship; biomass and rotten food are the recipe inputs.
The 1.0 Distiller recipe set includes Organic Fertilizer made from biomass and rotten food. Use the recipe display for exact ingredient counts, collect the processed fertilizer, and apply it to crops whose requirements call for it.
Distiller with Organic Fertilizer recipe available.
Biomass.
Rotten food.
Garden crop that accepts Organic Fertilizer, if applying the output immediately.
Open the Distiller and check that Organic Fertilizer is available in its recipe list.
Gather biomass from plant matter and retain rotten food rather than discarding it.
Load both inputs according to the Distiller’s displayed ingredient counts.
Start the Organic Fertilizer recipe and allow the machine to process the batch.
Collect the fertilizer from the Distiller output.
Check the intended crop’s displayed requirements before applying it to a Garden Plot.
Use the fertilizer on a crop that calls for Organic Fertilizer and continue its watering routine.
Farming tips
Ingredient counts should come from the live recipe display because recipes can change.
Keep a portion of biomass for other planned processing if your crop production is not the only demand.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat whenever you have biomass and rotten food to spare and the Distiller recipe remains available. Output is limited by those inputs, so this is a conversion loop rather than a self-sustaining source.
Common mistakes
Using fertilizer without checking crop compatibility: some plants require a different fertilizer.
Discarding rotten food before checking the recipe: it is a listed input.
Assuming fixed ingredient counts from memory: follow the current Distiller display.
When to stop or switch
Stop when your planned crops have enough Organic Fertilizer, or when either input becomes more valuable for another recipe.
