How to farm
Use the official Teyvat Interactive Map to plot current investigation points by region. Weekly two-star artifact vendors are in Mondstadt City, Liyue Harbor, Ritou, Sumeru City, and Fleuve Cendre.
Before you go
- Unlock the regions and waypoints you plan to visit.
- Have Mora for vendor purchases; investigation pickups do not require Resin.
- Track the shared daily investigation interaction limit of 100.
- Open the official interactive map and select investigation points in a region you can access.
- Choose a compact set of researched artifact investigation stops rather than treating every marker as artifact fodder.
- Travel through the selected locations and inspect each point for an artifact pickup.
- Keep track of investigation interactions, since types share the daily cap.
- Visit Shiliu in Mondstadt City and the listed vendors in Liyue Harbor if you want additional stock.
- Continue with Yamashiro Kenta in Ritou, Afshin in Sumeru City, and Crossa in Fleuve Cendre.
- Purchase only the two-star artifacts that fit your Mora budget; the six shops together sell up to 30 weekly.
- Use collected low-rarity artifacts as fodder for upgrading your chosen artifact.
Farming tips
- Individual artifact investigation spots use 12- or 24-hour respawn intervals; the total available route is not a fixed current-world count.
- The official map marks investigations but does not identify which ones respawn or contain artifacts; follow a researched route overlay.
Repeat, collect and use
Investigation spots are limited by their individual respawn intervals and daily interaction cap. Vendor stock refreshes weekly; shop purchases are capped at the listed stock.
Common mistakes
- Treating every investigation marker as artifact fodder: use a researched artifact overlay.
- Exceeding the shared interaction cap: track all investigation types, not just artifacts.
- Expecting vendors to restock daily: their artifact stock is weekly.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you have enough fodder for the next artifact upgrade or have reached the daily investigation cap and weekly vendor stock you planned to use.
