Where to farm
Obtain the gadget from Lan’s Tianqiu Treasure Trail quest in Liyue. Place it on a valid open-world surface for each activation.
The Parametric Transformer converts expendable materials into a mixed reward pool. It is a useful weekly outlet for spare inputs, but the output cannot be selected, so do not feed materials you need for a planned upgrade.

How to farm
Before you go
- Complete Tianqiu Treasure Trail to receive the Parametric Transformer.
- Have eligible non-event materials whose displayed transmutation quality reaches the device minimum.
- Use elemental damage to charge the placed gadget.
- Complete the Tianqiu Treasure Trail quest and confirm the gadget is in your inventory.
- Choose expendable non-event materials, keeping planned ascension and crafting supplies aside.
- Place the Parametric Transformer on a valid surface in the open world.
- Interact with it and add materials until the displayed quality requirement is met.
- Confirm activation and attack the gadget with elemental damage to charge it.
- Continue elemental hits until the device completes its charge.
- Collect the mixed reward and review its contents in your inventory.
- Note the cooldown shown by the gadget and plan the next use after it becomes ready.
Farming tips
- The reward is a mixed pool, not a selectable item; treat this as a bonus conversion.
- The gadget uses at least 150 transmutation quality for a normal activation, so follow its displayed threshold.
Repeat, collect and use
One activation starts a cooldown displayed as seven days. Reuse it only after the gadget shows it is ready again.
Common mistakes
- Feeding materials reserved for a character or weapon: choose only genuine surplus.
- Expecting a chosen output: the reward pool is mixed and variable.
- Stopping before elemental charging completes: keep using elemental damage until the device finishes.
When to stop or switch
Stop after collecting the output and note the next ready state; do not spend more materials until another cooldown cycle begins.
