Stinkbug Parts and Gas Sacks

Stinkbug Parts and Gas Sacks are useful crafting drops. A careful ranged approach helps keep the fight outside the creature's hazardous gas cloud.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Stinkbug patrols in the Grasslands, at the Haze edge, and in upper-yard zones.

Find a Stinkbug on the Grasslands or near the Haze and engage from a position that gives you room to move. A gas mask helps when you have to approach the cloud; otherwise, use a ranged weapon and avoid fighting in the gas. Collect the drop pile after the fight and check which material your next recipe actually needs.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Gas mask or ranged weapon; having both gives you options.
  • A weapon and armor suitable for the encounter.
  • Healing items and open space to retreat.
  1. Search the Grasslands or Haze perimeter for a Stinkbug patrol.
  2. Choose open ground and draw the bug away from other enemies if possible.
  3. Equip a gas mask before close combat, or begin with ranged attacks from outside the cloud.
  4. Watch its position and keep moving away from gas-covered ground.
  5. Defeat the Stinkbug and approach only when the immediate fight is over.
  6. Collect Stinkbug Parts and any Gas Sacks from the drop pile.
  7. Use the parts and sacks for recipes that specifically list those materials.

Farming tips

  • Do not stand in the gas to trade melee hits; reposition or use range.
  • Inspect your inventory after each fight so you know which drop is still needed.

Repeat, collect and use

Look for another patrol on a later route and repeat the fight when more parts or sacks are needed; the drop amounts can vary.

Common mistakes

  • Engaging without a way to manage gas: bring a mask or keep the fight at range.
  • Fighting beside other insects: lure the Stinkbug into open space before committing.
  • Assuming every required material is guaranteed: inspect the drop pile and repeat only if your recipe still needs more.

When to stop or switch

Stop once your recipe has the Stinkbug materials it calls for; leave the Haze edge if your gear or healing is running low.
