The Peddler can offer Occult Scrolls during Adventure, but the stock changes from visit to visit. Check the shop when you meet it, buy only items that improve the build you are assembling, and protect Copper needed for other useful purchases. Reincarnation also adds the Phantom Peddler, whose enhanced offerings use Soul Essence.
Before you go Reach a Peddler during an Adventure run. Carry Copper for normal shop items. For Phantom Peddler access, unlock Reincarnation by clearing Nightmare and select that mode. Enter the Peddler’s shop when you find one in a stage. Inspect the available items and check whether an Occult Scroll is among them. Compare a scroll’s effect with your current weapon, element, skill, and survival needs. Buy a suitable item with Copper if it is worth the cost for this run. Keep enough currency for other upgrades or services you consider more important. In Reincarnation, inspect the Phantom Peddler separately and note that enhanced items require Soul Essence. Resume the stage after completing the purchase decision. Farming tips Judge synergy from the item description and your current build; a strong scroll in isolation may do little for this run. Treat rerolls as a costed choice and refresh only when the displayed price is worthwhile. Repeat, collect and use Peddler visits recur variably across runs; stock and scroll availability are not guaranteed. Reincarnation’s Phantom Peddler is mode-gated.
Common mistakes Assuming every shop carries scrolls: check each stock independently. Spending all Copper on a marginal item: reserve currency for higher-value needs. Confusing Phantom Peddler costs with normal shop currency: use the price displayed for that vendor. When to stop or switch Stop shopping when the remaining stock does not fit the build or the cost would compromise a more important upgrade.
