Vaults add a side-room route to Adventure: locate a cracked wall, clear the room’s challenge, and inspect its chest for a scroll choice. The exact trial and reward vary, so this is a repeatable way to seek useful scrolls, not a guaranteed source of a particular one.
Before you go Unlock Exploration in the Expedition Talent tree. Start an Adventure stage and locate an accessible cracked wall. Bring a build capable of handling an optional side-room challenge. Scan walls while clearing the stage for a Vault crack. Interact with an available entrance and enter the side room. Identify the objective presented there, such as a combat or movement challenge. Clear the challenge using the room’s layout and your current weapons and skills. Approach the reward chest after the objective is complete. Review the offered scroll choices and select one that fits your build. Return to the main stage and continue the Adventure. Farming tips A scroll can be useful through synergy with a weapon, element, or skill; consider the whole build rather than rarity alone. Vaults are optional: assess the trial before committing to a risky detour. Repeat, collect and use Vault rooms may appear in multiple stages and runs; each room and its reward are variable, and no specific scroll is assured.
Common mistakes Entering before Exploration is unlocked: buy the Talent first. Assuming every Vault grants the same chest or scroll: use the options presented in that room. Taking a dangerous challenge for a weak fit: skip it when survival matters more than another scroll. When to stop or switch Leave the Vault route when the trial is unsafe for your build or when the available scrolls do not improve the run enough to justify the risk.
