Mining materials and connected Ether Tree upgrades can support a gold plan through ore, gems, and mechanic-specific drops.
PC / Global, Season 10 Patch 7.0.11 (2026)
WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Mining nodes and the connected Mining branch of the Season 10 Ether Tree.
Use mining as a steady material route and spend Ether Points on nodes that support the mining mechanics you actually use. The tree is connected, so account for path nodes as well as the destination. Mine, collect ore and gems, process materials when that has a known use, and sell surplus according to current demand.
Have access to mineable nodes in the areas you can safely clear.
Earn Ether Points through Hell-or-higher Ether Quests for additional nodes.
Review the Mining branch path before spending points.
Open the Quest Log and identify remaining Ether Quests on Hell difficulty or above.
Complete suitable quests while progressing through available content to earn Ether Points.
Open the Ether Tree and plan a connected path toward Mining nodes relevant to your gold goal.
Mine available ore nodes and collect the ore and any gems they yield.
Check the current market and crafting uses before deciding whether to sell raw ore or process it.
Store materials required by your own crafting plans, then sell or vendor surplus.
Repeat mining and quest progression while the resulting materials still serve your currency goal.
Farming tips
Season 10’s Mining branch can affect mining mechanics; read node effects in-game before allocating points.
Raw ore and processed materials can have different demand over the season, so compare before processing or selling.
Repeat, collect and use
Mining and Ether Quests are repeatable where available; Ether Tree points from a completed quest are limited to its completion reward. Do not count on endlessly repeatable points from the same quest.
Common mistakes
Spending points without planning the connected path: calculate the full route first, since every link costs a point.
Selling ore needed for a recipe: reserve planned crafting stock before listing surplus.
Assuming old node effects still apply: verify the Season 10 in-game descriptions after changes.
When to stop or switch
Stop mining once you have the materials or gold for the planned purchase. Switch to a more direct route if ore demand is low or your next goal is a boss drop or specific item.
