Target Angelic runes from listed enemies

Angelic runes do not necessarily share a source, so the Journal entry for the exact rune should determine the farm.

PC / Global, Season 10 Patch 7.0.11 (2026)
WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

The enemy or activity named in the selected Angelic rune’s Adventure Journal source entry.

Pick the Angelic rune that completes a specific build plan, then use its in-game source entry to choose the enemy or activity. Run that source with a focused filter, and retain only runes and bases that can advance the plan or serve as practical replacements.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Know the exact Angelic rune and its intended build use.
  • Unlock the rune’s listed source and difficulty.
  • Keep the rune and its required base visible in the loot filter.
  1. Open the Adventure Journal and search the exact Angelic rune name.
  2. Read the listed enemy, region, activity, and difficulty; record any source condition shown.
  3. Travel to that source and set a difficulty your character can clear safely.
  4. Set the filter for the named rune, usable replacements, and the needed runeword base.
  5. Clear the listed enemies or activity and collect relevant rune and base drops.
  6. Review the runeword plan after each sample to confirm the rune is still the build bottleneck.
  7. Track clear time, deaths, and useful drops before extending the session.

Farming tips

  • Keep the rune’s base requirements in the filter even if you already own the rune; a mismatched base may stall the build.
  • If an update changes the entry, follow the live Journal source rather than old route assumptions.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeatable as long as the listed source is available. The Angelic rune is a random drop, not a guaranteed reward each clear.

Common mistakes

  • Grouping all Angelic runes into one route: check each rune’s own source.
  • Hiding a usable lower-tier replacement: retain options that improve the character while the target is pending.
  • Continuing after the target is no longer useful: reassess the build before each longer farming session.

When to stop or switch

Stop when the rune and appropriate base are obtained or the build has moved to another upgrade. Switch to the Journal-listed source for that next target.
