Before you go
- Fishing equipment available in your save.
- Accessible water where fishing can be performed.
- Fish Bucket if you want dedicated catch storage.
Farming steps
- Take the available fishing equipment to reachable fishing water.
- Use the equipment at the water and collect the resulting catch.
- Place fish in the Fish Bucket or another separate container to keep them apart from mining output.
- Check current NPC requests and identify any fish needed for cooking or delivery.
- Retain the requested portion and carry the surplus to the appropriate town buyer.
- Use fish in a cooking task when requested, or sell the remaining catch.
- Keep catches separate from ore so they are easier to count and retrieve.
- Check orders before selling a full bucket; the request can change between tasks.
Repeat, collect and use
Fishing can be repeated at accessible water with the equipment available in your save. Catch, store, check task needs, and sell or cook the surplus; no fixed catch rate is assumed.
Common mistakes
- Selling all fish before checking a request: reserve any fish currently requested.
- Letting loose catches mix with ore: use a separate bucket or storage area.

When to stop or switch
Stop fishing when you have enough for the active task and intended sale, or when you need to replenish other supplies before another trip.
