WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Rocky outcrops and mountain sides on Olympus, Styx, and Prometheus. On Prometheus, search caves in a biome where the target ore occurs.
A cave run is a focused gathering trip: choose the ore you need, search accessible cave walls, and return before your supplies or carrying space become a problem. Caves occur in rocky outcrops and mountain sides across the maps. On Prometheus, the biome matters because ore availability varies by region.
Olympus cave entrances in grid A5-H8 (forest valleys). Use the letter-number grid to find nearby rock faces; inspect each cave for its current ore veins.
Olympus cave entrances in grid A9-H12 (southern desert and snow biomes). Use the letter-number grid to find nearby rock faces; inspect each cave for its current ore veins.

How to farm
Before you go
Pickaxe appropriate to the deposit.
Light source and repair supplies.
Food, water, and protection for cave creatures.
Decide which mineral you need and check that it occurs in the region you plan to explore.
Travel along rocky terrain and inspect mountain sides and outcrops for cave entrances.
Enter with your light ready and watch for cave creatures before committing to a fight.
Check cave walls and interior deposits for the target mineral.
Mine only the ore you can carry and use; leave unrelated veins if the load is getting heavy.
Return to your base or smelting setup and refine the ore for crafting.
Farming tips
Bring enough light and repair materials for the planned trip, not just the first cave.
On Prometheus, choose the region by its biome-specific ore availability before setting out.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat on later trips or prospects as needed. This is a gathering route; each run depends on accessible deposits and your prospect's map and biome.
Common mistakes
Searching Prometheus without accounting for biome distribution; target a region where the desired ore is available.
Fighting cave creatures without supplies ready; carry food, water, light, and repair materials before entering.
Mining every vein regardless of need; prioritize the mineral you came for so the return load remains manageable.
When to stop or switch
Return when you have the amount needed for the next crafting or refining goal, or sooner if your supplies or carrying capacity are running low.
