WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
The riverbed below the bridge on the uphill route from Moonlight Town Stargazer.
Dimensional Butterflies are special enemies that can drop weapon upgrade materials. In Moonlight Town, the riverbed below the bridge contains two butterfly encounters, and the recorded material for this area is Crescent Moonstones. These are chapter collectibles to claim as you explore; the route is not a Stargazer-based respawn farm.
Reach the bridge on the uphill path from the Stargazer.
Be ready to fight the butterflies before leaving the area.
From Moonlight Town Stargazer, follow the uphill route toward the bridge.
Cross the bridge and locate the hole in its path that drops to the riverbed below.
Drop down carefully and search along the riverbed for the first Dimensional Butterfly.
Defeat the butterfly and collect its Crescent Moonstone drop.
Continue searching the same riverbed for the second butterfly encounter.
Defeat it and collect the second Crescent Moonstone before moving on.
At a Stargazer, check the intended weapon’s upgrade tier and use the materials if they match.
Farming tips
Search the length of the riverbed rather than leaving after the first butterfly; the second encounter is in the same area.
Butterflies are not ordinary enemies to ignore and revisit later expecting the same fixed encounter to yield another collectible.
Repeat, collect and use
The two listed riverbed encounters are one-time collectibles per playthrough. Butterfly materials elsewhere may vary by location and tier; this pair is not a repeatable farm.
Common mistakes
Do not stop at the first drop; check the rest of the riverbed for the second butterfly.
Do not assume a Crescent Moonstone upgrades a special weapon; verify the weapon’s material path.
Do not leave the area before defeating the butterfly if you still want its drop.
When to stop or switch
Stop once both butterflies are defeated and their drops collected; return only if you missed one or need to check your upgrade inventory.
