This is a targeted pickup guide for the Dark Moonstone of the Covenant hidden behind a wooden barricade in Center of Venigni Works. The stone belongs to the special weapon material path. Its position is easy to miss if you rush past the mine, and a puppet must break the barrier to reveal the route.
Before you go Reach the lower mine in Center of Venigni Works. Be able to avoid or defeat the puppet behind the wooden barrier. Have a special weapon that uses this material tier, or keep the stone for later. Follow the mine route down and descend the first ladder. Continue through the lower mine and descend the second ladder to reach the floor with the barricade. Approach the wooden barrier on the left wall and position yourself so the puppet behind it can reach it. Allow the puppet to smash through the wood; do not attack the wall expecting to open it. Go through the gap and pick up the Dark Moonstone of the Covenant. Return to Hotel Krat and check the special weapon upgrade requirement before spending the stone. Apply it only to the special weapon you intend to continue using. Farming tips The nearby Hidden Moonstone is a separate item on the opposite side near two pickaxe puppets; collect it too if needed, but do not confuse the names. If you are undecided on a special weapon, preserve the stone until you compare your options. Repeat, collect and use This is a fixed pickup and is collected once per playthrough. Returning to the mine does not restore it.
Common mistakes Do not confuse this Covenant stone with the Hidden Moonstone across the mine. Do not waste time attacking the barricade; use the puppet to break it. Do not spend the stone on a special weapon without confirming its upgrade path. When to stop or switch Stop once the stone is in your inventory; continue exploring only if you still need the separate Hidden Moonstone or other chapter pickups.
