Where to farm
Hotel Krat’s weapon enhancement service, where normal and special weapon requirements can be inspected.
Special weapons follow a distinct enhancement path that uses Covenant Moonstones. Because these materials are limited pickups or shop stock, spending one without checking the weapon can delay a later upgrade you value more. Use the weapon menu to identify the exact next tier, then decide whether the material belongs on your current favorite or should remain in reserve.
Have a Covenant Moonstone or be considering a limited purchase.
Be able to access the weapon enhancement service at Hotel Krat.
Travel to Hotel Krat and open the weapon enhancement menu.
Select the special weapon you are considering and inspect its next enhancement requirement.
Confirm the material family and tier displayed; special weapons use Covenant Moonstones rather than the ordinary weapon material sequence.
Compare the weapon’s next improvement with the other special weapons you might use.
If you have chosen the weapon, spend only the required stone to complete that upgrade.
If you are undecided, leave the stone unused and continue with normal weapon upgrades or another goal.
Recheck requirements before buying additional stones from Polendina.
Farming tips
Boss Ergo is a separate decision: keep a boss’s Ergo unconsumed if you still want to exchange it for special equipment.
Reserve Full Moonstones of the Covenant especially carefully because the available supply is limited.
Repeat, collect and use
This is a resource-allocation practice, not a farm. Limited stones are collected or purchased once as available; this choice can be reconsidered before spending.
Common mistakes
Do not assume every blade uses the same material family; inspect the menu.
Do not spend a Covenant stone just because it is available; match it to a weapon you plan to use.
Do not consume boss Ergo for levels before checking whether its special equipment exchange matters to you.
When to stop or switch
Spend when a chosen special weapon’s next upgrade is clearly more valuable than keeping the material in reserve; otherwise switch to a goal that does not need it.
