Where to farm
Frostpeak Ridge, the snowy region north of Outset Grasslands.
Frostpeak Ridge is the snowy region with Iron Ore, Coal, Rabbage, Honeybottle, and Zappertwig. Access depends on mech progression, including cold operation and the ability to clear frozen slime. Once inside, restore patches before expecting their native resources.
Complete the milestone and mech upgrades required to reach and operate in Frostpeak Ridge.
Enter the snowy region and decide whether the trip is for Iron Ore, Coal, or crop seeds.
Find the relevant patch and clear frozen Noxious Slime with the suitable upgraded tool.
Gather Iron Ore or Coal from available resource outcrops, collecting loose drops as you work.
For a seed trip, locate mature Rabbage, Honeybottle, or Zappertwig and harvest the crop.
Keep ore, coal, seeds, and crop goods separate so the trip’s intended output stays clear.
Return to the homestead with the target stock and reserve seeds before using other goods in deliveries.
Farming tips
Do not plan a Frostpeak trip before cold and frozen-slime access are in place.
If cargo fills with ore, make the crop-seed collection a separate run rather than leaving seeds unsorted.
Repeat, collect and use
Collection trips are repeatable for available resources and crops after access and restoration. Unlocking the region and its cold tools is a one-time progression gate.
Common mistakes
Entering before the required upgrades: finish the access progression first.
Expecting native resources on a slime-covered patch: clear frozen slime before gathering.
Mixing seed stock into delivery cargo: hold back planting seeds at home.
When to stop or switch
Stop when your target ore, coal, or seed reserve is sufficient; switch to Hexagon Valley only after later progression unlocks it and its resources become the goal.
