WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Hexagon Valley, unlocked later through mech progression.
Hexagon Valley is a distinct later region, not an extension of the Frostpeak route. Its native crop targets include Chromaize and Lumbloom; Copper Ore and Yellow Crystal are also listed there. Restore the relevant patches before collecting native resources.
Mech tools and upgrades for the region’s slime-clearing requirements.
Resource Vacuum for loose drops, if unlocked.
Cargo space for the selected crop or material target.
Advance through the required mech progression until Hexagon Valley becomes accessible.
Choose a target for the trip: Chromaize or Lumbloom seeds, Copper Ore, or Yellow Crystal.
Travel to the matching patch and clear Noxious Slime with the appropriate mech tool.
Harvest mature Chromaize or Lumbloom if collecting seeds and crop goods.
Work Copper deposits or Yellow Crystal outcrops when materials are the goal, then vacuum loose drops.
Keep seeds and processed or raw materials in separate cargo groups where possible.
Return to the homestead and use seeds for fields, Copper Ore for construction or wire processing, and requested goods for deliveries.
Farming tips
Do not substitute Frostpeak’s Iron and Coal route for Hexagon Valley’s Copper and Yellow Crystal targets.
Mark separate crop and ore stops in your own notes so a full cargo load does not interrupt the priority item.
Repeat, collect and use
The collection loop can be repeated after unlocking the region and restoring patches. Unlocking access is a one-time progression step; crop and material gathering depends on availability.
Common mistakes
Traveling before Hexagon Valley is unlocked: continue milestone progression first.
Harvesting a slime-covered patch before restoration: clear it so native resources are available.
Sending all crop seeds for a delivery: reserve enough to plant at home.
When to stop or switch
Stop once the requested crop seeds or material stock is secured; switch back to another region if its resources are needed for the active build or delivery.
