The permanent Tyranny of Aamon mission track includes a weekly Alastor challenge and awards Frozen Keys. Their supply is limited by the weekly mission cycle, so check the active objective and encounter access details before committing them. Plan this as a boss session, then return to the board to verify completion and claim any mission reward.
Before you go Unlock the permanent Tyranny of Aamon mission board. Have the Alastor weekly objective available and accept it before the encounter. Have Frozen Keys available and meet the access conditions shown for the challenge. Open the weekly board and read the Alastor objective, including whether it calls for a summon, defeat, or another action. Accept the objective before using keys or starting the challenge. Check the encounter prompt and confirm your character meets its current entry conditions. Use Frozen Keys only when ready to attempt the challenge. Defeat Alastor and collect the encounter drops available to you. Return to the board and check that the objective counter advanced. Claim the mission reward if the board requires a separate turn-in. Farming tips Coordinate the challenge with other weekly boss objectives when one session can advance both. Check your remaining keys and the objective status before entry; the weekly supply is limited. Repeat, collect and use Weekly-limited mission and key supply. The Alastor objective and its Frozen Key reward follow the mission cycle; this is not an unlimited key farm.
Common mistakes Using keys before accepting the weekly objective; take the task first so the encounter can count. Assuming keys replenish immediately after a kill; check the board cycle and remaining supply. Entering without reviewing current access conditions; use the encounter prompt to confirm eligibility. When to stop or switch Stop when the weekly objective is complete and its reward is claimed. Save any remaining keys for a planned attempt or another active objective.
