Moonshine Boots and Boot Spirit Stones

Farm Moonshadow materials for boots with monster strength and use boot-specific stones to tailor their sockets.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Moonshadow Vale and its dungeons for boot materials and stones; Depths of Greed for a chance at Black Diamond Drill; use the relevant in-game crafting and socket interfaces.

Moonshine Boots add a boot slot progression path: the boots have a fixed strength against monsters bonus, up to three usable sockets, and up to one random additional bonus. New spirit stones are made specifically for boots and can provide existing bonuses or a Confused effect against monsters. The same update allows up to two sockets to be unlocked on older boots with a Black Diamond Drill, which can be looted in Depths of Greed.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Reach Moonshadow Vale and access the relevant monster or dungeon content.
  • Check the boot crafting and spirit-stone interfaces for current material requirements.
  • For older boots, have a Black Diamond Drill and the equipment eligible for socket unlocking.
  • Choose a boot build goal before committing stones or drill resources.
  1. Inspect the boot crafting interface and note the materials required for Moonshine Boots.
  2. Farm Moonshadow Vale monsters and the Depths or Heart of Greed where their drops fill the listed material gaps.
  3. Collect any boot-specific spirit stones obtained and compare their bonuses with the build you want.
  4. Craft Moonshine Boots when the required inputs are ready, then evaluate their random additional bonus.
  5. For older boots, obtain a Black Diamond Drill from Depths of Greed and check the eligible socket option.
  6. Use the socket interface to unlock or fill only the slots that support your chosen build.
  7. Review the finished boots in combat before collecting more materials for another pair.

Farming tips

  • Do not spend a Black Diamond Drill until you have identified which older boots you want to socket.
  • The Confused effect is a monster-control option; compare it with the resistances or other bonuses your character needs.

Repeat, collect and use

Material farming and stone collection can be repeated. Black Diamond Drill is a drop chance, and a desired boot bonus or stone is not guaranteed.

Common mistakes

  • Assuming every boot can take three stones; check actual socket eligibility and unlock rules.
  • Using a drill on boots you may replace; choose the intended pair first.
  • Farming stones without checking their effects; retain only those that suit your build or future gear.

When to stop or switch

Stop when your chosen boots have the needed sockets and useful stones; move to another equipment target rather than collecting redundant stones.
