WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Moonshadow Vale, Depths of Greed, and Heart of Greed; use the in-game crafting option for Moonshine weapons.
Moonshine weapons are a permanent equipment progression target introduced with Tyranny of Aamon. Materials come from monsters in Moonshadow Vale and from Depths of Greed and Heart of Greed. Crafted weapons can have up to three random bonuses, and upgrading a weapon to +10 increases its attack and skill range. Since the bonus rolls are random, build toward a weapon only when you can evaluate whether the result is useful.
Reach Moonshadow Vale and the relevant monster zones.
Have access to Depths of Greed; Heart of Greed additionally requires its quest, three keys, and a party of four to eight.
Check the crafting interface for the exact material list before collecting.
Reserve upgrade resources only if you intend to keep the resulting weapon.
Open the weapon crafting interface and inspect the material requirements for your class and intended weapon.
Make a shortfall list so each farming session targets materials you actually lack.
Farm Moonshadow Vale monsters for listed materials, collecting ordinary drops at the same time.
Run Depths of Greed for its additional materials; join a Heart of Greed group when its materials are needed and entry requirements are met.
Return to crafting and create the weapon when the required materials are available.
Inspect its random bonuses and compare them with your current weapon before investing further.
If the crafted weapon is a keeper, upgrade toward +10 to gain the stated attack and skill-range increase.
Farming tips
Check the finished weapon’s bonuses before spending scarce upgrade materials.
Use group time in Heart of Greed for the dungeon materials you lack rather than treating every run as a generic farm.
Repeat, collect and use
Material farming is repeatable. Crafting is repeatable when inputs are available, but bonus rolls are random and a useful roll is not guaranteed.
Common mistakes
Collecting materials without checking the crafting list; target the actual shortage.
Assuming every crafted weapon will have desired bonuses; evaluate it before upgrading.
Upgrading a temporary weapon to +10; first decide whether its bonuses justify the investment.
When to stop or switch
Stop collecting for this target once you have a weapon with suitable bonuses upgraded to your chosen level; shift to another equipment slot or material goal.
