Mercenary dispatches can be sent into Moonshadow Vale and the new dungeons, where they can earn reward chests with useful items. This is a parallel collection activity: choose an eligible Moonshadow destination in the mercenary system, dispatch available mercenaries, and collect the resulting chest when the dispatch is finished. The available evidence does not establish a fixed chest contents list or a guaranteed item, so regard this as a supplementary source of supplies rather than a replacement for a targeted character farm.
Before you go Have access to the mercenary dispatch system and mercenaries available to send. Have Moonshadow Vale or a new dungeon listed as an available destination. Be able to return to the interface to collect the dispatch result. Open the mercenary dispatch interface and review destinations currently available to your character. Choose Moonshadow Vale or one of the new dungeon destinations if it is offered. Read the requirements shown by the interface and assign mercenaries for that dispatch. Confirm the dispatch, then use character play time for another goal while it runs. Return to the dispatch interface when the activity can be collected. Collect the reward chest and sort its contents into items to use, materials to keep, or surplus. Dispatch again to an eligible Moonshadow destination if the chest rewards remain useful to your plans. Farming tips Start a suitable dispatch before a separate farming session so both activities can contribute during the same play period. Keep the chest contents flexible in your plan; use the collected items to decide whether another dispatch fits your needs. Repeat, collect and use Repeatable while mercenaries and eligible destinations are available. Dispatches can yield reward chests, but no particular chest item is guaranteed.
Common mistakes Assuming a specific Moonshadow item is guaranteed; treat the chest as a variable reward. Dispatching without checking the destination requirements shown in game; confirm eligibility before assigning mercenaries. Repeating automatically without reviewing the last chest; use its contents to decide whether the destination still helps. When to stop or switch Stop using Moonshadow dispatches when their chest rewards no longer support your current goals or the interface offers a more useful destination.
