Where to farm
High Rank Investigation reward previews and the post-hunt reward screen.
Armor Orbs become armor decorations at the end of a hunt. High Rank Investigations can include orbs among their guaranteed bonus rewards, making the reward preview the key to choosing a useful run. After the hunt, review the randomized jewels and place suitable results in armor slots that can accept them. A jewel’s triangle level must be no greater than the slot’s capacity. Spare decorations can be saved for Vio’s melding pot in Suja, which can offer targeted decoration melding as progression allows. The loop therefore combines selective Investigation registration, orb rewards, automatic appraisal, and deliberate equipment changes.
Choose an Investigation whose listed rewards include Armor Orbs.
Have armor with decoration slots compatible with jewels you obtain.
Open the world map and inspect roaming monsters’ guaranteed reward lists.
Select a monster whose preview includes Armor Orbs and note the listed rarity.
Ask Alma to save the roaming hunt as an Investigation.
Launch it through Alma and complete the hunt.
Collect the rewards and let Armor Orbs appraise automatically.
Visit a camp tent or Gemma’s Smithy and open equipment management.
Equip useful resulting jewels in armor slots with enough triangle capacity.
Farming tips
Check a jewel’s triangles against the armor slot before equipping it.
Compare the jewel’s skill with skills already on the armor instead of filling every slot without a build goal.
Repeat, collect and use
A saved Investigation has up to three clears. When spent, inspect other roaming monsters for Armor Orb rewards.
Common mistakes
Choosing a hunt by monster alone; confirm Armor Orbs in its reward preview.
Assuming an orb grants a chosen skill; appraisal is random, while targeted melding is separate.
Ignoring slot level; match the jewel’s triangles to the armor slot.
When to stop or switch
Stop when your armor build’s needed skills are covered or the saved hunt’s attempts are spent. Use Suja melding if a particular decoration is still missing.
