Where to farm

Field Investigations registered from roaming monsters on regional world maps and launched through Alma.

Field Investigations contribute to Hunter Rank progression after the campaign opens the endgame. They also let you pursue particular monsters and listed rewards, so rank and material goals can advance together. Campaign milestones raise the Hunter Rank ceiling. If rank progress stops at a cap, complete the available key campaign assignment before spending time on additional hunts against that limit. Optional Quests also increase HR, so choose between them and Investigations according to which activity best fits your current materials or equipment needs. Claim the rewards and check your progress after each run.

How to farm

Before you go

Complete campaign progress that unlocks High Rank and Field Investigations.
Have access to Alma and the region map.
Choose a monster whose hunt and listed rewards suit your current goal.

Open the map and inspect roaming monsters across available regions.
Check a candidate’s guaranteed drops and choose one that fits a material or decoration goal.
Ask Alma to save the selected roaming hunt as an Investigation.
Launch it from Alma and complete the hunt.
Claim rewards and let any decoration orbs appraise at hunt completion.
Check your Hunter Rank progress after the quest.
If rank is capped, return to campaign assignments and complete the available milestone.

Farming tips

Optional Quests also increase HR; pick the activity that overlaps best with your other goal.
The ceiling rises through campaign milestones, so check assignments when rank progress caps.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeat with other available Field Investigations. Each saved hunt has limited attempts; register another roaming monster when one is spent.

Common mistakes

Assuming every hunt raises the ceiling; complete key campaign quests when HR is capped.
Choosing randomly when you need a material; inspect guaranteed rewards before saving.
Ignoring other hunt output; collect and use listed materials and appraised decorations too.

When to stop or switch

Stop when you reach the next HR requirement or hit a ceiling. Complete the cap-raising assignment, then resume if more rank is needed.
