Saving a roaming monster as an Investigation preserves a specific field hunt for later. Before registering, inspect its guaranteed rewards and choose a target whose listed items fit your goal. Alma stores the hunt so you can access it later from her Investigation option for a limited number of clears. The preview helps select a useful target; completing the quest supplies the actual rewards. Registration costs Guild Points as shown in the game, so check the prompt and make sure the saved opportunity is worth using before you confirm.

How to farm

Before you go

Reach the story stage where Field Investigations are available.
Locate a desired roaming monster on a region map.
Have enough Guild Points for registration, as shown by the in-game prompt.

Open a region’s world map and its roaming monster list.
Select the monster you want to hunt or preserve for later.
Inspect guaranteed rewards and confirm the desired material or orb is listed.
Choose Alma’s save option and review any displayed Guild Point cost.
Speak with Alma and open Investigations when ready to depart.
Select the saved target and complete the hunt.
Claim rewards and check the remaining attempt count in the Investigation listing.

Farming tips

A saved hunt can be attempted up to three times; spend clears on a reward set you want.
You can hunt a roaming monster immediately instead of saving it; register when repeat access is useful.

Repeat, collect and use

Limited farm: one saved hunt supports up to three clears. Save another suitable roaming monster after those attempts are spent.

Common mistakes

Saving before checking drops; read guaranteed rewards first.
Expecting to preserve a hunt indefinitely; check its remaining attempts.
Confusing the roaming encounter with the registered quest; launch the saved version from Alma.

When to stop or switch

Stop when attempts are spent or its rewards no longer help your goal. Switch to a fresh roaming target with a better preview.
