Where to farm
Registered Investigation quests with useful payout or target-specific reward boxes, posted through the Handler or Quest Board.
Investigation conditions and rewards are randomized, and each quest has limited attempts. Compare the target, reward boxes, monetary reward, and failure conditions before registering. Gold boxes usually offer the best bonus materials, while the quest payout helps with Zenny needs; neither makes a particular monster part certain.
Obtain and register an Investigation at the Resource Center.
Know whether the priority is Zenny, a monster material, or a balance of both.
Check the quest’s conditions and remaining attempts.
Open Manage Investigations and review quests for your target or useful payout.
Compare monetary reward, target, reward boxes, objective, and failure conditions.
Register a suitable Investigation; registration does not spend an attempt.
Post it from the Handler or Quest Board.
Complete the objective while minimizing faints, which reduce the quest’s money reward.
Collect the base quest rewards and bonus Investigation boxes.
Review the Zenny and material results, then choose the next quest based on what remains.
Farming tips
Gold reward boxes are generally better for bonus materials; weigh that against a payout-focused choice.
Avoid severe failure limits when your main goal is a reliable Zenny run.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat until the Investigation’s allotted attempts are used. Obtain more Investigations through monster research activity; each new quest has its own limited attempts.
Common mistakes
Comparing only the payout: check target and bonus boxes if you also need materials.
Ignoring faint penalties and failure conditions: carting reduces money and can end the quest.
Expecting the same reward each run: objective conditions and bonus rewards are randomized.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you have enough Zenny and target materials, or switch to a safer registered Investigation if the current conditions make completion unreliable.
