WHERE & HOW TO FARM Where to farm Stone outcrops near the Workshop and along countryside paths; marble-bearing rocky nodes in the field.
Gather ordinary Stone from stone outcrops around Portia, then seek Marble from the rocky nodes that yield it. These field resources do not require entering an Abandoned Ruin, so they are useful when you want to conserve a weekly pass or need basic building stock.
Before you go Carry a pickaxe. Leave inventory room for stone and secondary drops. Check current workshop plans to know which material is short. Start near the Workshop and find visible stone outcrops along nearby paths. Use the pickaxe on the outcrops and gather the dropped Stone. When Marble is needed, prioritize rocky nodes known to yield it rather than colored patches in a ruin. Continue along the countryside path while checking nearby nodes, without treating every rock as a Marble source. Return to the Workshop and sort Stone and Marble into separate stockpiles. Use the raw material in the appropriate workshop processing station or construction order. Farming tips Field gathering does not spend a ruin pass, so it fits well between commissions and mine visits. Keep more Stone than you need for a single order if several construction tasks are queued. Repeat, collect and use Repeat whenever building stock runs low; ordinary field nodes can be gathered again over time.
Common mistakes Looking for Marble in every stone outcrop can waste stamina; target known marble-bearing rocks. Using ruin access for basic stone is unnecessary; gather surface outcrops instead. Processing or selling the entire haul can leave no raw stock for a later build; reserve first. When to stop or switch Stop when the current construction or workshop requirement is covered, then switch to ore or wood if those are the next bottlenecks.
