WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Fruit Trees

Fruit trees found in world biomes.

Before you go

Farming steps

  1. Look for fruit trees while exploring biomes you can reach safely.
  2. Identify the fruit tree output you want to collect, such as Apple, Banana, Coconut or Lemon.
  3. Use an Axe to harvest the tree and gather its dropped materials.
  4. Collect the fruit, logs and matching sapling produced by the tree.
  5. Keep saplings separate by type so you can distinguish the corresponding fruit trees.
  6. Store fruit for food or recipes you plan to make, and keep logs for crafting or construction.
  7. Review stored supplies before collecting more of a fruit you already have in surplus.

Repeat, collect and use

Finding and harvesting wild fruit trees is repeatable only where trees are available to collect. Each harvested tree yields its materials, but this guide does not assume an orchard replanting method.

Common mistakes

  • Leaving before collecting the sapling: check the tree’s drops and gather it if you want to retain that variety.
  • Mixing saplings without tracking their type: store them separately to preserve the fruit-to-tree association.
  • Collecting every fruit without a use: prioritize the types needed for food or recipes and manage surplus in storage.

When to stop or switch

Stop gathering a fruit type when your stored supply covers the food or recipe uses you currently have; collect another variety when it fills a specific need.
