Fruit trees provide three kinds of output: fruit, logs and a sapling corresponding to the tree. The known fruit tree outputs include Apple, Banana, Coconut and Lemon. Collect these materials when you find fruit trees in the world, then decide which fruit is useful for your food or recipe needs and which saplings you want to retain. This guide focuses on gathering and managing those outputs; it does not assume a particular settlement planting method.
Finding and harvesting wild fruit trees is repeatable only where trees are available to collect. Each harvested tree yields its materials, but this guide does not assume an orchard replanting method.
Stop gathering a fruit type when your stored supply covers the food or recipe uses you currently have; collect another variety when it fills a specific need.
