Where to farm

Underworld floors; check the starting Shrine area for a reported nearby Onmyo Mage pair. Spend collected Lapis at the blessing table in the staging area.

Lapis Lazuli is an Underworld resource spent at the staging-area blessing table to improve persistent modifiers. It can drop from Underworld enemies and bosses, but individual amounts and enemy drops are not guaranteed. For a focused attempt, inspect the starting layout of your floor: one community-reported arrangement has two Onmyo Mages near the Shrine, just to the left. Use that route only when you see the pair in your instance. Otherwise, choose an enemy route or boss clear you can handle safely, collect visible Lapis, and decide whether to reset or finish the floor for its other rewards. At the staging area, invest the currency in the modifier that serves your current goal, such as increasing the chance of higher +value equipment. Track the table’s cost as you go; stop farming once the planned upgrade is funded or when progression offers better value.

How to farm

Before you go

Reach Dream of the Nioh and unlock the Underworld.
Enter a floor and inspect the area around its starting Shrine.
Choose a blessing-table upgrade to work toward before spending Lapis.

Enter an Underworld floor and check the layout around the starting Shrine.
If two Onmyo Mages are positioned nearby to the left, use them as an optional target; otherwise choose a safe enemy route or plan a boss clear.
Defeat the enemies on your route and collect any visible Lapis Lazuli.
Review your supplies, then decide whether to reset at the Shrine or finish the floor for equipment and progression.
Return to the Underworld staging area and inspect the blessing table before your next run.
Spend Lapis on the modifier you chose and note what remains toward its next upgrade.
Repeat a suitable route or clear further floors until the upgrade goal is met.

Farming tips

The nearby mage pair is a reported layout, not a guaranteed spawn; verify it each time before committing to the route.
The Loot +Value modifier improves the chance of higher +value equipment drops; choose it if that supports your gear goal.

Repeat, collect and use

Collect Lapis in repeated Underworld or Depths runs. Enemy drops and amounts vary; boss clears are another route, not a fixed payout guarantee.

Common mistakes

Assuming every floor has the same mage layout; inspect the starting area first.
Counting on a specific enemy to drop Lapis or expecting a fixed amount; collect what actually appears.
Spending without a target upgrade; check the blessing table and track the remaining cost.

When to stop or switch

Stop when you have enough for the upgrade you planned, or when floor progression is more useful than repeating nearby enemies.
