Where to farm
Underworld floors: explore the Netherscape, then defeat that floor’s Crucible boss. Spend collected Lapis with Ono no Takamura in the staging area.
Use full Underworld floor clears when you want Lapis Lazuli for the Blessings of the Departed table. Lapis can drop from enemies, but Crucible bosses are a dependable collection target: they award Lapis when defeated. This route also advances the floor sequence and gives you its equipment rewards, so it suits a character able to handle the boss reliably. Spend the currency with Ono no Takamura in the Underworld staging area to improve persistent blessings, including the modifier that raises the chance of higher +value equipment drops. The amount from a boss can vary, so plan around repeated clears rather than a promised total.
Reach Dream of the Nioh and unlock the Underworld.
Bring a build and healing resources suited to the selected Crucible boss.
Know which blessing-table upgrade you want before spending Lapis.
Enter an available Underworld floor and prepare at its Shrine.
Explore the Netherscape and collect at least one Jizo Kodama to open a Crucible portal.
Gather additional Kodama or loot along the route if doing so is safe and useful.
Finish any exploration you want before entering the Crucible; you cannot return to the Netherscape afterward.
Enter the Crucible and defeat its boss to complete the floor and receive its rewards, including Lapis Lazuli.
Return to the staging area and speak with Ono no Takamura to review the blessing table.
Spend Lapis on the blessing that supports your current goal, such as Loot +Value Modifier for higher +value equipment drops.
Repeat with another available floor when you still need currency and can manage its boss.
Farming tips
The boss is the focused Lapis target; Netherscape enemies can also drop Lapis, but their drops are random.
Collecting one Jizo Kodama opens Crucible access; more can add floor benefits and portal choices.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable through available Underworld floors. Crucible bosses award Lapis, but the amount is not fixed; each clear also completes that floor’s progression.
Common mistakes
Expecting a fixed Lapis total per boss: treat the award as variable and plan for multiple clears if needed.
Entering the Crucible before finishing Netherscape exploration: complete your chosen search first because the route back closes.
Spending without a goal: check the blessing table and choose an upgrade before using the currency.
When to stop or switch
Stop the Lapis runs when you have enough for the blessing upgrade you planned, or switch to safer progression if the next Crucible boss is consuming too many resources.
