WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
In the Netherscape of any Underworld floor, before entering its Crucible.
Each Underworld floor begins in the Netherscape and ends in a Crucible containing its boss. Jizo Kodama are collectibles in the Netherscape, and gathering them controls where Crucible portals become available. The first Kodama opens a portal near the find and another beside the Shrine; later finds open additional portal locations. Once you enter the Crucible, you cannot return to the Netherscape, so finish the exploration you want before taking a portal. This is a repeatable part of each floor run, not a permanent collection.
Unlock the Underworld and select an available floor.
Bring a build able to handle that floor’s enemies and boss.
Leave time to search the Netherscape before committing to the Crucible.
Enter the floor and locate the Netherscape Shrine.
Explore reachable paths and check branches as you move through the area.
Find and collect a Jizo Kodama; this opens portals near the Kodama and the Shrine.
Continue searching for other Kodama if you want their additional portal locations.
Return to the Shrine to prepare your equipment and available resources.
Choose an opened portal only after completing the exploration you want.
Defeat the Crucible boss to finish the floor and continue your run.
Farming tips
The Shrine-side portal gives you a convenient entry option after preparing; the first find also opens a portal near the Kodama.
Search at a pace that fits your condition and build readiness. Extra finds add portal options, but are not required to enter the Crucible.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the search on each floor where you want more portal locations. Kodama collection resets with the floor run; it is not a permanent collectible farm.
Common mistakes
Entering as soon as the first portal opens: finish any desired Netherscape searching first, since the route back closes.
Assuming all four Kodama are required: one opens Crucible access; further finds add portal locations.
Rushing branches without accounting for enemies: clear or avoid threats before searching nearby paths.
When to stop or switch
Enter the Crucible when you have collected the Kodama you want and are ready for the boss. Stop searching sooner if the remaining risk is too high.
