Use Dream of the Strong for higher-level Amrita farming

Where to farm
Dream of the Strong world map, Dawn region: The Refined Man of the Underworld. Clear Pervading Waters to unlock the sub-mission.
Dream of the Strong is the next New Game cycle after the main story and makes The Refined Man of the Underworld a higher-difficulty Amrita route. The sub-mission pairs Gozuki with Mezuki, so its value comes from clearing both and collecting the mission rewards. Treat Amrita as the main target and compare the result with other missions available to you; no fixed level gain or clear time is guaranteed. If the two-boss run consumes too many healing items or takes longer than a safer mission, switch routes until your build improves.
Finish the main story to unlock Dream of the Strong.
Clear Pervading Waters to open The Refined Man of the Underworld.
Bring equipment and healing supplies suited to two consecutive boss fights.
Know how to use your weapon’s Ki Pulse and at least one reliable defensive option.
From the world map, select Dream of the Strong, then open the Dawn region mission list.
Choose The Refined Man of the Underworld and review its mission information before starting.
At the opening encounter, face Gozuki and watch for the end of his attacks before committing to a punish.
Use Ki Pulse after your combos and avoid spending all your Ki while Gozuki is still active.
When Gozuki is defeated, prepare for Mezuki; keep enough healing and Ki for the second fight.
Punish Mezuki after its committed attacks, and use a Burst Counter when you can safely answer a Burst Attack.
Defeat Mezuki, collect the Amrita and mission rewards, then review the results screen before deciding whether to restart.
Farming tips
Keep a defensive Yokai Ability or other dependable response ready for a mistake; surviving both fights is more useful than forcing damage.
Compare equipment drops with your current setup, and avoid replacing a working item just because its level is higher.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable: replay the sub-mission to earn Amrita and ordinary mission rewards. A first-clear reward, when listed, is limited to the applicable first clear and does not repeat with each run.
Common mistakes
Treating the earlier difficulty as a guarantee of safety: adjust your approach to the stronger enemies and use openings instead of trading hits.
Spending all healing on Gozuki: preserve a reserve for Mezuki, who follows in the same mission.
Expecting a particular level gain or pace: Amrita returns depend on the run and character state, so compare actual results rather than relying on a fixed target.
When to stop or switch
Switch to a higher-difficulty mission or Underworld progression when it offers more useful Amrita or gear for your character, or when this two-boss clear is no longer efficient for you.
