WHERE & HOW TO FARM Where to farm Dawn region sub-mission, The Refined Man of the Underworld. It becomes available after clearing Pervading Waters.
The Refined Man of the Underworld puts Gozuki and Mezuki in one Dawn-region sub-mission. Clear both, claim the mission rewards, and replay while the Amrita and gear remain worthwhile for your character. Dream of the Strong is a stronger progression point for this route, but the bosses still need to be defeated reliably for the run to suit your build.
Before you go Unlock the Dawn region and clear Pervading Waters to open the sub-mission. For the higher-difficulty version, complete the main story and select Dream of the Strong. Bring a build that can handle both bosses without spending all healing items on Gozuki. Open the Dawn region map and select The Refined Man of the Underworld. Prepare at the mission start, including healing and a Soul Core setup you can use safely. Engage Gozuki and watch for its heavy attacks; punish recovery windows rather than trading hits. Use Burst Counters when you recognize a Burst Attack and avoid spending Ki until you cannot evade. Defeat Gozuki, then prepare for Mezuki instead of assuming the mission is over. Defeat Mezuki, collect the mission results and Amrita, and review useful equipment. Return to the map and restart the sub-mission if the reward still advances your character. Farming tips Use the Shrine between attempts to adjust Guardian Spirit, Soul Cores, and equipment for the boss that is slowing the run. On Dream of the Strong, compare the gained Amrita and gear with a current-region mission before committing to repeated clears. Repeat, collect and use Repeatable: restart the sub-mission after a clear. Amrita and ordinary drops can be earned again; first-clear rewards do not reset.
Common mistakes Trying to burst through both bosses without Ki management: preserve enough Ki to dodge and recover. Repeating an underleveled difficulty indefinitely: move to a higher difficulty when this route stops helping your progression. Treating a fast clear as guaranteed: switch to a safer approach if deaths or healing use erase the value of the run. When to stop or switch Switch to higher-level missions or endgame content when their Amrita and gear are more useful than this two-boss clear.
