Where to farm
Throughout an Underworld floor: first the Netherscape, then the Crucible after using an opened portal.
An Underworld floor has two sections: the Netherscape, where you explore and face enemies, and the Crucible, where you fight the floor boss. Search the Netherscape for equipment before entering the Crucible; crossing over prevents a return to that area. Equipment can also be collected during the wider floor run, but neither a particular item nor a desired Grace is assured. Use floor assignments to focus equipment attempts when you are pursuing a specific Ethereal Grace, and judge drops by whether they actually help your build.
Unlock the Underworld through endgame progression.
Bring equipment and healing suited to the floor’s enemies and Crucible boss.
Choose whether the run prioritizes equipment collection, floor advancement, or both.
Select an available floor and enter its Netherscape.
Use the Shrine to prepare, then explore paths and defeat enemies you can manage safely.
Collect equipment you encounter and inspect it for useful effects and Grace eligibility.
Find a Jizo Kodama to open Crucible access; additional Kodama open more portal locations.
Finish any desired Netherscape exploration before entering the Crucible.
Use an opened portal and defeat the floor boss to complete the floor.
Review collected equipment and keep pieces that improve your build; advance if you are ready.
Farming tips
Check the floor’s Grace pool before entering when targeting a particular Ethereal Grace.
Compare effects and equipment slots to your current setup; rarity alone does not make a piece an upgrade.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat across available floors and runs for equipment attempts. Specific items, Graces, and effects are not guaranteed.
Common mistakes
Entering the Crucible before finishing the Netherscape: you cannot return, so collect desired pickups first.
Treating every drop as an upgrade: compare its effects and slot with your current build.
Pushing onward without checking your condition: prepare for the next boss or stop the run if resources are low.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the next boss is too risky or you have collected enough useful gear for the current build goal. Resume after preparing or when another floor better matches your target.
